Spark Potential
change lives
…providing young people access, opportunity, and the network needed to leverage their strengths and reach their goals
Our Mission
To nurture and guide motivated young people in need to become
well-educated, career-ready, men and women for others.
Young People in Need
Youth and their families are facing economic, systemic, or circumstantial barriers that limit their hope and possibilities.
well-educated
We develop lifelong learners who are prepared for post-secondary education and have the agency and confidence to choose a path that maximizes their purpose, passion, and potential.
career-ready
We help young people gain 21st century skills to be competitive for internships, jobs, careers, and leadership now and in the future.
people for others
We cultivate generosity, service, reflection, awareness of societal needs, and the courage to be a change-maker, inspired by the Jesuit value of being a person for others.
Same Spark, Brighter than Ever!
Hope Ignites reflects the evolution of who we are and the impact we make. In an increasingly competitive landscape of youth-serving organizations, this name distinguishes us from others and clarifies our unique mission and impact.
Our new name reflects the full journey of those we serve—from scholars to young professionals—and better represents the diverse individuals and communities we serve.
A big thank you to documentary filmmaker and supporter Timmy Vatterott, who donated his time to make this video!
Ignite Hope. Illuminate Potential.
